Rent tracking that shows who’s paid and who hasn’t
Record rent as it lands in your account. LieuTenant sets it against what each tenancy owes, shows what’s late and by how long, and turns it into reports your accountant can use.

Rent
Your bank statement won’t tell you who’s behind
Rent arrives on different days, sometimes in parts and sometimes late. Matching it against what each tenant owes is a job most landlords do in a spreadsheet at the end of the month.
LieuTenant works it out from the tenancy itself. It knows the rent, how often it’s due and on which day, so each payment you record is set against the oldest amount owed first. Whatever is left unpaid is the arrears.
Under the Renters’ Rights Act, the mandatory possession ground for rent arrears needs 3 months’ arrears, so knowing exactly what is owed, and since when, matters more than it used to.
Rent, costs and reports
- Payments against each tenancy
- Record rent, deposits and other payments. Part payments are fine.
- Arrears worked out for you

- This month on one page
- What’s due, what’s come in and what’s still to pay, on the Today page.
- Monthly or weekly rent
- Set how often rent is due, and on which day, for each tenancy.
- Agency commission
- Take an agent’s fee off the rent to see what you actually receive.
- Expenses with receipts
- Log costs against each home, attach the receipt and mark which are tax deductible.
Tenants see it too
Each tenant sees their rent, their payments and anything late in their own login, which saves a lot of “did you get it?” messages.
