Why is it free?
Fair question — most “free” software has a catch. Here's our model, plainly: the software is free, forever. Unlimited properties, unlimited tenancies, every feature included.
In future we plan to offer optional paid services — things like rent collection and property management — for landlords who want to hand parts of the work over. Some landlords will choose them; most won't need to. Either way, the app you use to run your portfolio stays free.
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't spam your tenants.

Is it really free?
Yes. LieuTenant is completely free to use with unlimited properties and tenancies. The only limit is 1 GB of document storage.
What happens if I run out of storage?
You can free up space by deleting old files. Your data always stays safe and accessible even when the storage limit is reached.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Enterprise-grade encryption, UK data centres, regular backups.
